Communications

It goes without saying that communication plays a key role in raising the profile of your event and making it a success. Using our expertise and resources, we work together with our clients to develop a marketing and communications strategy that will help maximise the impact of the event. We offer support in a number of different areas of communications:

Branding and visual support

Through our close collaboration with design and communications agencies, we ensure tailor-made branding solutions for your event. We work in close partnership with you to define your communication objectives and determine the graphic guidelines and values you would like to see reflected in your visual supports at the event. Based on these conversations we then advise you on the optimal branding solutions to ensure maximum impact. These solutions can range from event logos and slogans, invitation design and flyers to posters, pop-up banners and presentations that will be shown at the event.

Presentation coaching

With the preparation of your event well under way, it is high time to think about what you will say in that keynote speech, presentation or closing speech. How you address your audience, which words to use, which visual aids to use, how to structure your speech… These are only a handful of the questions you should be thinking about when writing the outline of your presentation. Sometimes, all you need is a sounding board and sometimes, it is easier to hand over the development of the presentation to specialists. Having witnessed and developed many presentations during our careers as professional conference organisers, we are happy to put our experience and communication skills at your disposal to guide you towards a clean, concise and impactful presentation. And if you would like to enhance the visual impact of your presentation, we will gladly call on the expertise of our branding specialists.

Media relations

More often than not events and conferences have a media aspect. When discussing current and future solutions with your key stakeholders, it is always important to share insights with the media, to keep the topic at the top of stakeholders’ agendas or in the minds of the general public. But it is also important to balance media relations, including traditional and social media, with the desired outcome of the event. In the months and weeks preceding the event we will discuss strategy and desired outcome with you and based on the results of our conversations we will propose an action plan to draw media attention to and coverage of the event. We will also gladly assist you in organising interviews and following-up with specific media inquiries.

Media relations training

If you do get an interview request, how do you make the most of your face-to-face time with the journalist? How do you make sure you convey your message? There are a number of elements that are important: know your subject, know what you want to say and how to say it, but most of all, be prepared. That’s where we can help you. Prepare. We organise sessions to take you through the do’s and don’ts, to give you advice on your messaging and to teach you some techniques that will help you tell your story. After taking you through these elements we will go through role-plays that put in you in similar situations. These discussions are filmed so that, together, we can analyse where we stand and how we can improve your presentation skills and interview techniques.
